Time for People to Live Up to Contracts

I have seen and heard it so many times. A player signs a contract and then complains about it and wants a new one and we hear everyone say the player needs to quiet down and play it. This is what the New York Yankees need to do. When you got Rodriguez you knew you were taking on a monster contract. You had to have had clues about the steroid use. If you did not do your homework about the guy you are signing that is your problem. Now that the poop has hit the fan you are looking for any possible way to get out of the contract. I get it; you could buy a lot for what you are paying for a mediocre bat and a lot of distraction. The fact is you took the contract, deal with it.
